Astrocytes in neural circuits: Listening, responding, and regulating

WTI's Center for Neurodevelopment and Plasticity presents a special seminar with Marc Freeman, Director and Senior Scientist at the Vollum Institute at Oregon Health and Science University (OHSU).

Freeman is a neuroscientist interested in the neural systems and dynamics involved in flexible and proactive control of adaptive behavior; or complex systems scientist interested in the structure, function, dynamics, and control of adaptive neural systems. His lab research goal is to understand how neurons and glia communicate during nervous system assembly, function, and maintenance, and how these processes go awry in disease.
