10:00 - 11:15 am
100 College Street
Floor 11, Workshop 1116
The inaugural Sheri D. Choi Memorial Postdoctoral Lecture will feature developmental cognitive neuroscientist Halie Olson, from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s McGovern Institute for Brain Research. Olson studies the neural basis of language and communication, with an emphasis on characterizing and understanding typical and atypical language development using a combination of neural, behavioral, and computational approaches.
Coffee and refreshments will be available before the talk, followed by time for audience questions and discussion. All members of the Yale community are welcome. If you are interested in scheduling time to meet with the speaker, please contact liz.knapp@yale.edu.
The Sheri D. Choi Memorial Postdoctoral Lecture is presented in honor of Sheri D. Choi, a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Psychology at Yale University who studied infant memory and cognition. Choi was a formative member of the Wu Tsai Institute and Psychology Department communities and a staunch advocate of opportunities for postdocs.
The lectureship recognizes an outstanding early-career scientist, nominated by trainees from the WTI community, through a lectureship and a visit to Yale. The program highlights innovative developmental science while celebrating the perspective of an exceptional postdoc.
