Faculty members at Yale are eligible to apply with three criteria.

  1. Ladder-track appointment

  2. Approved for graduate advising by the Yale Graduate School of Arts and Sciences (GSAS) as governed by the Faculty Handbook

  3. Demonstrate research alignment with the Wu Tsai Institute’s mission of advancing our understanding of cognition and exploring human potential

Benefits + Commitment

Wu Tsai Faculty Members are appointed to a three-year, renewable term. Members demonstrate community involvement through active participation and leadership in Institute activities and they commit to the Institute’s Code of Conduct.

Wu Tsai Faculty Members come from dozens of departments across multiple schools. With the support of the Institute's resources and facilities, they conduct research, mentor and teach students and postdocs, and actively engage in our community.
