Dimensionality and collective dynamics of complex neuronal systems

Thibeault's research focuses on how collective neuronal dynamics reorganize and support resilient function as the brain develops and adapts. By grounding theoretical work in experimental questions, he aims to uncover rigorous principles linking neuronal connectivity, dynamics, and cognitive function, while developing generalizable tools for the study of complex systems more broadly. He is working with Wu Tsai Faculty Members John Lafferty and Chris Lynn.
