Perception of computer graphics

My research area is computer graphics. My particular research interests include shape and appearance capture, applications of perception in computer graphics, modeling material appearance and developing computational tools for cultural heritage. My work involves understanding how people perceive and interact with visual media in order to design more effective content creation systems for graphics applications. In the area of cultural heritage, I develop systems to enable scholars to better make sense of diverse data and artifacts to understand the past.
