Biography

Harrison Zhou is the Henry Ford II Professor of Statistics and Data Science. After earning a PhD in mathematics at Cornell University, he began his teaching career as an assistant professor at Yale in 2004. He served as chair of the Department of Statistics and Data Science from 2012 to 2021. In 2018, Zhou was recognized with the 2022 Lex Hixon ’63 Prize for Teaching Excellence in the Social Sciences at Yale.
